Description

Magic, danger, and adventure abound for messenger Karigan G'ladheon in author Kristen Britain's New York Times-bestselling Green Rider fantasy series • "First-rate fantasy." —Library Journal

Karigan G’ladheon is a Green Rider—a seasoned member of the elite messenger corps of King Zachary of Sacoridia. King Zachary sends Karigan and a contingent of Sacoridians beyond the edges of his nation, into the mysterious Blackveil Forest, which has been tainted with dark magic by a twisted immortal spirit named Mornhavon the Black.

In a magical confrontation against Mornhavon, Karigan is jolted out of Blackveil Forest and wakes in darkness. She’s lying on smooth, cold stone, but as she reaches out, she realizes that the stone is not just beneath her, but above and around her as well. She’s landed in a sealed stone sarcophagus, some unknown tomb, and the air is becoming thin.

Is this to be her end? If she escapes, where will she find herself? Is she still in the world she remembers, or has the magical explosion transported her somewhere completely different? To find out, she must first win free of her prison— before it becomes her grave. And should she succeed, will she be walking straight into a trap created by Mornhavon himself?

I have not read fantasy books for awhile but I do really enjoy a good one. I found The Green Rider series and 'binge' read one after the other. Brilliant character development, adventure, romance and especially a strong female lead had me hooked. Mirror Sight is incredibly imaginative, taking our heroine to a very unexpected place, yet keeps us connected to the homeland. I'm so impressed with this author and can't wait for the next book. Great great great!

Love the the Green Rider books the only bad thing is how long it takes to get a new one. You have to get back and re read them to really know what is going on or your lost with the new book.

This book was a wonderful surprise in the series, Kristen you really out did yourself on this one! It was a fantastic unexpected twist. All of the books in this series are awesome, I have not been able to put them down. But this last one I so wanted to take slow as I know I will have to wait for another, but it was just too good and I found myself reading into the wee hours of the night, unable to put it down. Thanks for an amazing adventure, and please Kristen, hurry as fast as you can with the next!

Interesting & different twist to the story. I think this was supposed to be the last in the series, but I hope there will be at least one more...

I have read everyone of her books and enjoyed them immensely the characters everything you just fell in love with them and then for some reason she went all game of thrones wanted to add to sex so she did didn't mean nothing even talked about heterosexual just a little bit and then she had to have some dragons and the villain is the same Old villain . I can understand it if author wants to grow and improve her work but why not start on another book .Her fans have be Supportive all this time then she spits out a book and it is like she went all game of thrones . To me it was a desperate act to show her peers look at me I can write about other things just disappointing. The whole book ,anything is a dream so you don't love the characters you don't even really get to know the characters because you know they're going to Die in the end ,and that was the whole book. And again Karagen gets the short end of the stick she's not happy where she comes out and she doesn't feel in more empowered as a woman she doesn't feel stronger for what she's went through or anything . I'm beginning to believe the author really doesn't know how to make her character grow as a empowered woman and stronger and realize the force that she has been made in to . I don't know like I said this book was a dead read everything hanging , the characters everything that we wanted just wasn't .Three years of Misery waiting on an author to tell us something . Already know what the next it's going be about the dragons Blackviel and nothing will come about it probably something bad . You would think two maybe once she could find a way to help maybe get the witch to flood Blackville ,become the woman she is a leader gifted with the gods and oh yeah us the fans being silly for thinking she wanted to love with the king and he loved her again this authors foolishness( you wrote it ) and think we will forget it , has been in the first book all the way through, hard to forget when you keep Writing about it. Will no matter what I say or do I guess will write another what 3 to 4 years her next book comes out and it will probably be called game of time or something ignorant like you said the first books are great Blackville I never understood why she left on cliffhanger but more money I guess.

Congratulations Kristen for another amazing book in the Green Rider series. Not only did you take us out of time and place but you gave us a brand-new story while bringing us back to the past. The bittersweet ending of this book made me realize you would not fall into cliché patterns so often done by other writers. If you are reading this and have not read Kristen Briton's books please start with the first of the series: Green Rider. Believe me you will read them all in succession after that. I tried to read this book slowly and savor every moment but as things heated up I could not put it down. This is what it's been like for everyone of her books. Enjoy her work it is excellent!
